What a sensational term! Apart from moving into our new open plan rooms and getting used to our new teaching and learning situation we certainly have been busy bees. We have been busy working on our Social Harmony and Linking to Thinking units which focus on working co-operatively and harmoniously together. Our school chaplain, Trish Sutherland worked with all grade three children on the STOP, THINK, DO program.
One day we made healthy wraps for lunch. We made a total of two hundred and twenty-four wraps.WOW! We also went to the Diamond Valley sports centre on four consecutive Wednesdays where we rotated around T-ball, hockey, soccer, circuit training and boxercise. It was lots of fun. In the last week of term we participated in an Easter maths trail. As some of the children commented, "It was the best day ever!" We are all looking forward to a break with more exciting happenings to come in term two.
