🌼 A Touch of Yellow for R U OK? Day 🌼

This week our school community came together to recognise R U OK? Day, a reminder of how important it is to check in on the people around us and ask how they’re really going.

Students and staff wore a touch of yellow for the occasion, and it was lovely to see the bright colour popping up in classrooms and across the yard.

We started with a walk and talk around our brand new oval. Students were encouraged to chat about how they were feeling and to strike up a conversation with someone new. It was wonderful to see so many new connections being made along the way.

To finish, we gathered together on the oval and spelled out R U OK? as a whole school. It was a fun way to show that looking out for each other is something we all share.

A simple question can make a big difference. We encourage everyone to keep the conversation going at home and to keep checking in with friends, family and classmates throughout the year.
